Rachel Rainey, FNP

Rachel Rainey, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse and family nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlin College of Nursing. In her master’s program, she studied in the family nursing practitioner specialty track.

Before joining the SSM Health Medical Group, Rachel was a clinical support nurse in the surgical and orthopedic unit at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Lake Saint Louis. At the hospital, she had daily hands-on experience with general medicine, surgical medicine, trauma services, pulmonary, neurology, gastrointestinal, cardiac, hematology, oncology and renal care.

As a family nurse practitioner, she provides care and education to patients. She provides care to all ages for acute and chronic illness and disease, as well as physical exams, sports and work physicals and well-woman exams.
