Amy M Maher, FNP

Amy Maher, FNP-C, is a part of the women's health care team at Alton Memorial Hospital. 'I really enjoy the education side of being a nurse practitioner and it is an important part of how I provide care,' Amy says. 'I want to help patients make informed decisions concerning their health and the health of their family.' Amy cares for women in all stages of life, offering general obstetrics and gynecologic care. Amy is from Fosterburg, Illinois and is married with three daughters. Outside of work Amy and her family enjoy the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with friends and attending her children's various activities. She is looking forward to providing women's health care to her community. Amy's practice is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
