Phil is an experienced leader with 3 decades in commercial banking and lending and has received many accolades throughout his career. Phil joined TowneBank in 2017. In 2019, Phil was named one of Charlotte’s Most Admired CEOs by the Charlotte Business Journal. He has also been recognized with a Charlotte Business Journal 40 Under 40 award and the 2009 NC Financial Impact Leaders award from Business Leader Magazine.
Phil earned his MBA from UNC Charlotte and is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He is also a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Banking.
Phil volunteers on The Citadel Brigadier Foundation Board, the Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas Board, and the Mecklenburg County Council Boy Scouts of America.
