Queenie Qiu - CLOSED

Queenie Qiu, PA-C is a member of Summit Health's Urgent Care Center team. Ms. Qiu is trained in emergency medicine and has experience working at a level 1 trauma center, where she treated a variety of trauma and injury cases. Ms. Qiu served as an emergency medicine technician for one year during college and went on to work as a medical scribe for two years. “Being an urgent care provider keeps me on my toes and allows me to work on a variety of ailments,” says Ms. Qiu. She adds, “Patients generally come into an urgent care center with some fear and concern about their health. Being able to support them through such emotional and medical difficulties is very rewarding.”

​Ms. Qiu is a big proponent of exercise and physical activity to promote health. To keep herself physically and mentally well, she runs three miles at least twice a week.
