Brooke Laster

Brooke Laster, MSW, LCSW, ACT is a Behavioral Health Clinician on Summit Health's Neurosciences team. Ms. Laster works with patients who are coping with physical limitations onset by disease or injury with the goal of improving their emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. She states, “Treating mental health is just as important as treating physical health. My goal is to help patients work through their individual challenges and find new ways for them to approach life in ways that are meaningful and hopeful.”<br />

Ms. Laster has over a decade of experience working in cancer care settings (health care and not-for-profit) treating patients, caregivers, survivors and their families. She is experienced in supporting and fully guiding patients through illness, depression, anxiety, and trauma due to medical issues. In her judgment-free environment, Ms. Laster makes genuine connections with patients, making them feel comfortable, listened to, and confident in the care they are receiving.<br />

When not in the office, Ms. Laster enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and visiting the lake.
