Frederick Shieh

Frederick K. Shieh, MD, specializes in gastroenterology with a special interest in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and bile duct, biliary diseases, cancer screening and management, esophageal disease and gastrointestinal bleeding. He also has experience with advanced gastrointestinal techniques such as endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration and ERCP. Prior to joining Summit Health, he practiced in Scarsdale, NY.<br />

Dr. Shieh has published articles and abstracts in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including The American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Pancreas. Dr. Shieh is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.<br />
