Lauren Soroka-CLOSED

Lauren Soroka, PA-C is a member of Summit Health's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. Ms. Soroka practices general orthopedics for children and adults and works in close collaboration with physicians who specialize in knee, shoulder, and hand injuries and conditions. “I’ve seen firsthand how a positive outlook can affect health outcomes. Therefore, my goal is to make patients feel comfortable with our care and confident in the information we provide to help them self-manage between visits,” says Ms. Soroka.<br />

Ms. Soroka was drawn to a career in health care after volunteering on her local First Aid Squad. She enjoyed the social connection that this volunteer experience offered and is happy to experience the same in her role as a physician assistant. “Experiencing human connection as a healer, is the ultimate reward.”<br />

When not seeing patients, Ms. Soroka enjoys playing tennis, golf, and kickboxing. She also makes time for some of her favorite hobbies which include scrapbooking, baking, and traveling to wine regions with her husband. She is an animal rescue advocate and encourages future pet owners to consider shelter animals.
