Jose Flores

In addition to his position with Montclair Family Practice of Summit Health, Jose C. Flores, DO, is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, and Saint George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Flores is Cofounder of Montclair Family Practice. He also is the physician for Montclair Kimberly Academy in Montclair, New Jersey.<br />

Dr. Flores has practiced previously with Urgent Care of Hawthorne, Immedicenter of Bloomfield, Hackensack University Medical Center (UMC) Mountainside Hospital Occupational Medicine, and Roche Pharmaceuticals Employee Health Service, all located in New Jersey.He has been a preceptor for the Hackensack (UMC) Mountainside Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program.<br />

Dr. Flores is Vice Chairman of the Hackensack (UMC) Mountainside Hospital Department of Family Practice. He is a board member of the Hackensack (UMC) Mountainside Hospital Independent Practice Association and he is also a member on the Board of Trustees of QualCare.<br />

Dr. Flores has earned the Hackensack (UMC) Mountainside Hospital Teacher of the Year Award. He has been featured in the New Jersey Monthly "Top Doctors" listings and Consumer's Checkbook "Top MD" listing. Dr. Flores is a recipient of the Montclair Magazine / Key Professional Media Super Doctor Peer Recognition and Professional Achievement Award.
