David Tamres

Before joining Summit Health, David M. Tamres, MD, practiced with Madison Internal Medicine Associates in Morristown, New Jersey. For the last 6 seasons, Dr. Tamres has been Associate Team Internist with the New York Jets. He is an attending physician and preceptor at Morristown Medical Center. He has been Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at New York Medical College and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.<br />

Dr. Tamres became an internist because he "enjoys the challenge of diagnoses and the privilege of being a part of many people's lives." He says, "I feel honored that my patients trust and rely on me to help them when they are ill. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with my patients." Dr. Tamres is a member of the American College of Physicians and National Football League Physicians Society. He is the coauthor of articles and abstracts, which are published in the prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals Archives of Internal Medicine, Journal of the American Geriatric Society, and Nursing Home Medicine: Annals of Long-term Care.<br />
