Marykate Vaughn

Marykate Vaughn, AuD/CCC-A is a member of Summit Health’s Audiology team. During her more than 20 years of experience in comprehensive diagnostic and hearing aid services for children and adults, she has worked in a variety of medical environments, including hospitals and private practices as well as otolaryngology and industrial settings. She has expertise in diagnostic audiologic evaluations, hearing aid dispensing and counseling, speech mapping, and pediatric audiometry.

Dr. Vaughn is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Speech, Language and Hearing Association and a member of the New Jersey Academy of Audiology. She was a Gubernatorial appointee and then Chair to the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Consumer Affairs Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee, the licensing and regulatory body for audiologists and speech pathologists in New Jersey.

Dr. Vaughn has delivered local and regional invited presentations for the New Jersey Speech-Language Hearing Association and International Dyslexia Association New Jersey Branch. She has delivered presentations at workshops and continuing education conferences for audiologists, reading specialists, school nurses, speech-language pathologists, teachers, parents, and child study teams.

Dr. Vaughn is a recipient of the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association Distinguished Service Award. When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Vaughn enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
