Ami Mehta

Ami A. Mehta, MD, FAAP, specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine. Dr. Mehta has a special interest in developmental delays, growth and nutrition, and diabetes. Prior to joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Mehta practiced in Livingston and Morristown, New Jersey.<br />

Dr. Mehta is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been featured in New Jersey Family "New Jersey Favorite Kids' Docs" listing.<br />

Dr. Mehta is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and nutrition. "I feel blessed to be a part of a child's life from birth to young adulthood. Seeing my patients develop and grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I believe one of the most important roles for a pediatrician is to be an advocate for their patients," she says.<br />

When she is not working with patients, Dr. Mehta enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She enjoys learning new recipes and cooking healthy and delicious meals for her two children.
