Anna L. Swanson, NP

Anna is originally from Bellingham, Washington. She earned bachelor degrees in Nursing and Spanish from Washington State University, followed by a master’s degree in Nursing from Maryville University. After her education, she moved to Denver, Colorado to begin her career as a nurse practitioner, specializing in Advanced Heart Failure at the SCL Health Heart and Vascular Institute.“Every person deserves to live their healthiest life. It is my responsibility and privilege to strengthen the health and well-being of the community and individuals I serve.”As a nurse practitioner in Advanced Heart Failure, Anna enjoys building relationships with patients who have specialized health care needs. She interacts with patients on a very frequent basis as they work together to reach patient goals for therapy and management of their heart failure.She is passionate about access to care. She became a nurse practitioner to make a greater impact on the lives of those in her community, and is grateful to be a part of a team where those with specialized health needs can be assured regular access to care from a team of caring and knowledgeable individuals.When she is not at work, Anna enjoys being outside. She loves hiking, skiing, camping, grilling in the backyard and reading on the front porch.
