Kirstin G. Hesterberg, DO

Dr. Hesterberg, a Colorado native, specializes in cardiovascular disease. Her clinical interests include pregnancy and cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular imaging and improving quality of life. Dr. Hesterberg attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harrogate, Tennessee. She then completed her residency at at National Jewish Health/Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver Colorado, as well as a fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis.“Each patient is an individual with different goals and aims for their health and wellness. Additionally, wellness is not about treating the specific disease. Our bodies are complex systems. As a provider, I take a comprehensive approach to the care of each patient. For many patients with cardiovascular diagnoses we need to be aggressive about treating the underlying disease while taking a holistic view to treat the individual."When not at work, Dr. Hesterberg likes to spend time outdoors with her partner, Bryan, as well as with friends and family. She likes to garden, hike, camp, and snowshoe. Otherwise, she spends her time reading, cooking, baking and knitting. While in Tennessee, Dr. Hesterberg and her partner started brewing beer and plan to continue this hobby in Colorado.
