Monica M. Pozzuoli, MD

Dr. Pozzuoli joins ColumbiaDoctors as a member of Columbia Primary Care and will be providing medical care to children in the Westchester pediatrics practice locations.She is a dedicated clinician who strives to provide comprehensive, evidenced-based medical care to her patients. She listens carefully to the concerns of her patients and their caregivers, and to then makes decisions regarding care in a collaborative approach. Her colleagues are comprised of a network of outstanding clinicians affiliated with New York-Presbyterian, which enables her to refer to top specialists if the clinical situation deems it to be necessary.She received her Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. She then studied at New York Medical College, where she received her degree in medicine (MD) and a Masters in Public Health degree (MPH) degree. She completed pediatric residency training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2007, and then worked as a general pediatrician in Westchester County from 2007 until 2011. She joined Cornell Medical Associates in 2011, where she served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and practiced general pediatrics until September, 2020. She subsequently joined the ColumbiaDoctors Divison of Primary Care in Westchester County, New York.She served as the Chair of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee for the Division of Primary Care for the Physician Organization of Weill Cornell Medicine. She incorporates the skills that she obtained through her nine year tenure in this position in her medical practice by providing high-quality medical care to her patients in a safe and secure practice environment.
