Meagan Mahoney, MD

Meagan Mahoney, M.D., is a general surgeon with critical care and surgical trauma expertise. She earned bachelor degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology from Mississippi State University and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she also completed her general surgery residency and a surgical critical care fellowship. Dr. Mahoney is certified in both Fundamentals of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery and is Board-Eligible for Surgical Critical Care. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Association of Women Surgeons, the James D. Hardy Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Meagan, a Mississippi native, moved to Columbus with her husband, Holt. In her free time, Meagan enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling.
