April Witzel, CNM

April earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. April believes strongly in the philosophy of women-centered care and has over 20 years of experience. April provides full-scope women’s healthcare starting in adolescence continuing beyond menopause with special emphasis on pregnancy and childbirth. In addition to Midwifery, April holds special interests in reducing health disparities in underserved populations, providing evidence-based, equitable, patient centered care while promoting health and wellness. In her spare time, April enjoys spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Additionally, she loves to travel and makes time for exploring new destinations.
