Tedman Vance, MD

Tedman L. Vance, M.D., earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He currently serves in the United States Navy Reserves and is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is sub-specialty certified in surgery of the hand. Dr. Vance specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, and treats conditions including upper extremity trauma, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture, fractures, nerve repair, tendon injuries and carpal instabilities. He also offers general orthopedic care for geriatric hip fractures and knee osteoarthritis. In his spare time, Dr. Vance enjoys running, cross-training and racquetball.
