Stephen H. Sinclair, the man behind Sinclair Technologies, LLC, is a Vitreoretinal surgeon with an expertise in biophysics of retinal blood flow and vision measurement, vision enhancement. After finishing medical school at Harvard, ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and a vitreo-retinal surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Sinclair spent 8 years as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and head of the vitreo-retinal service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He moved across town to start a new department at Hahnemann University as Professor of Ophthalmology and then spent 6 years as vice-chairman continuing his clinical, teaching and research activities. He left academics in 1993 but continues as Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at Drexel University, teaching residents and students at several institutions in Philadelphia and lecturing worldwide.
