Ammar Alkhazna

: Dr. Ammar Alkhazna is a board-certified pulmonology and sleep medicine specialist with Jackson County Pulmonary in Independence, Mo. He is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center. Dr. AlKhazna has eight years of patient care experience, and also possesses an extensive research and publishing background. He has led numerous pulmonology clinical trials and authored multiple papers and abstracts for various professional journals. Dr. AlKhazna has presented his work in meetings and conferences for bodies including the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. He is a former medical student instructor and is active in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
