Sarah Silva

Prior to joining the medical staff at JFK Medical Center, Dr. Silva worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in North Chicago as well as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach. She has extensive training in consultation-liaison services, as well as crisis intervention for the veteran population, including post-traumatic stress disorder and
dual diagnoses.

Dr. Silva?s training includes conducting psychodynamic and cognitive therapies individually, and group and couples therapy. In addition, she has expertise in the treatment of substance abuse.

Dr. Silva is board certified in psychiatry, and is a certified provider of suboxone treatment in opiate addiction.
