Andy M. Lee, MD, FACS

Andy Lee, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and a board certified Vascular Surgeon practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Fresh Meadows, NY. He received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. At New York University Medical Center, Dr. Lee completed a five-year general surgery residency and two-year vascular surgery fellowship.

Dr. Lee has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of vascular disease. He is familiar with both open and endovascular treatment of abdominal and thoracic aneurysms, carotid disease, lower extremity peripheral vascular disease, and venous disorders. He has an expertise in aortic aneurysm repair, carotid surgery, peripheral arterial disease intervention, hemodialysis access, varicose veins, and venous insufficiency. This allows him to individualize treatments according to anatomy, disease process, medical comorbidities, and to the extent possible, patient preference.

Dr. Lee is certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Vascular Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He is an Associate Surgeon-in-Chief, Chairman of the Credentials Committee and Vice Chairman for Medical Affairs at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Lee has been on staff since 2001.
