Brain Wellness Center: Hasan Asif, M.D.

Hasan Asif, MD, founder and medical director of the Brain Wellness Center, is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been in private practice for nearly two decades. As a mental health wellness physician, Dr. Asif offers comprehensive care to patients in two New York City locations, Bronxville and Midtown East.
As a pioneer in the field of neuroenhancement, Dr. Asif has paved a new path in the field of mental health, combining neuropsychotherapy with transcranial magnetic stimulation, quantitative electroencephalogram, neurofeedback, and infrared technology. His unique approach improves brain function and offers highly effective treatment for many conditions, including depression, anxiety, attention-deficit disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and addiction.
A graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Asif finished his postgraduate training in psychiatry at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He then joined the faculty of the University of West Virginia in Morgantown, West Virginia, as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. He went on to serve as the Medical Director of Adult Partial Hospital Program at Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, New York. 
In addition to serving patients in his private practice, Dr. Asif is a consulting psychiatrist at Lawrence Hospital Center in Bronxville, New York.
