Gian Vinelli, MD - Schweiger Dermatology Group

Gian Vinelli, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and triple fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

Dr. Vinelli is a board-certified dermatologist and is one of the few triple fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in the country. He completed his fellowships in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and also the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition, he is fellowship trained in cosmetic surgery through the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Vinelli provides general dermatology, laser treatment specific to anti-aging, and surgical care in several Schweiger locations in NJ and NY.

Dr. Vinelli received his Bachelor’s Degree in biology from Swarthmore College and continued on to University of Central Florida for his post-baccalaureate study in organic chemistry, biology and histology. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and went on to complete his residency in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. His fellowships were completed at Montefiore Medical Center in NY. Dr. Vinelli has authored articles on various dermatological conditions, including surgical reconstruction, hair loss, and Mohs micrographic surgery.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Vinelli enjoys rock climbing, boxing, skydiving and competing in races such as Tough Mudder.
