Gina Rizzo

Dr Gina T. Rizzo, a third generation native Houstonian, graduated from IWA in Houston as Valedictorian 1978 and went on to receive her Magna cum Laude Biology degree from Texas A&M University 1982, followed by UT Medical School in Houston and completion of an OBGYN residency at St Joseph Hospital, where she was born; She was in private practice for 14 years followed by 6 years of success developing a home based business so that she could spend time with her 3 children: Joseph Jr, Angela and Jeffrey; she comes to us after serving as a faculty member at UTMB League City for the past 8 years.

Dr Rizzo enjoys all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology and looks forward to continuing to develop her skills in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.

Dr Rizzo is a member of AMA, TMA, and Harris County Medical Society and is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology; She is also a Fellow of the American College of ObGyn. She is excited to be joining all of her HCA associates and reuniting with her former partner, Dr. Maria Rivero.
