Dr. Palakurthi earned her medical degree at Siddhartha Medical College, Nagarjuna University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. She went on to complete a residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Palakurthi is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
