Dr. John Chronakos has been with the Danbury Hospital pulmonary department for the last fifteen years. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care. He is also board certified in sleep disorders. He treats pulmonary patients ages 18+. He treats sleep disorders patients ages 1+.ξHe serves as the chief of the pulmonary section and the vice chair of internal medicine. Dr. Chronakos believes that the patient's best interests should always come first. His areas of expertise include COPD, pulmonary thromboembolism and sleep apnea. Dr. Chronakos prides himself in his attention to detail and his willingness to go the extra mile when it comes to patient care. In his free time, Dr. Chronakos enjoys running and swimming.
