Dr. Michael Moghimi specializes in spinal surgery, utilizing both non-operative and operative treatments for spine patients. His practice offers care in all aspects of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disease. Dr. Moghimi is one of the few surgeons in Austin who has experience with the newest techniques of minimally invasive spine surgery ("MIS"). He believes surgery should always be the last resort, but when necessary, strives to provide the best care using the newest and most innovative technologies.

Board-certified surgeon, Dr. Moghimi completed his fellowship in spinal surgery at Harvard, where he worked at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Prior to fellowship, he completed his orthopedic residency training at Baylor College of Medicine, and attended medical school at the University of Texas in Houston.
