Latham Dermatology: Christine Finnin, MD

Christine Yang-Finnin, MD, is a board-ceritified dermatologist, an associate of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an exemplary doctor at Latham Dermatology in Latham, New York.
Dr. Yang-Finnin has studied at some of the most prestigious universities and hospitals across the state of New York, beginning with her undergraduate education at Cornell University. After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology, Dr. Yang-Finnin received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, where she again excelled as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She then completed an internship at Montefiore New Rochelle.
Dr. Yang-Finnin completed her residency at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in Manhattan where she began focusing on dermatology. Throughout her time there, she was a leader for resident education even restructuring the curriculum for future residents, while also participating in clinical research and writing in over a dozen scientific publications. She also had the opportunity to travel to a clinic in Hue, Vietnam, where she guided local dermatologists with difficult cases despite extremely low resources.
In her spare time, Dr. Yang-Finnin enjoys cooking and trying new foods, and staying active by hiking and scuba diving.
