David Edelstein, MD

After earning his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1978, David Edelstein, M.D., completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago in 1983. He completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California in adult reconstructive Surgery in 1984. Dr. Edelstein is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Texas Orthopedic Society, Houston Orthopedic Society and Harris County Medical Association. When not caring for patients, Dr. Edelstein enjoys road cycling, skiing, scuba diving, sailing and camping Dr. Edelstein’s favorite dessert is hot apple pie and vanilla ice cream. The best advice he's ever received is, "It’s tough to soar with the eagles in the morning if you’re out hooting with the owls at night." The most interesting place he’s visited is Israel. His guilty​ pleasure is hot glazed donuts from Shipley’s. The one technological device he can’t live without? His smartphone.​​​
