Dr. Bernstein’s office is conveniently located on W. 57th St between 6th and 7th Ave. on the Carnegie Hall block, in a beautiful landmark building. He has been practicing on 57th Street since 1982. The office is easily accessible by public transportation. Dr. Bernstein practices all phases of podiatry from pediatrics to geriatrics. In his 35 years of experience, he is especially noted for his focused, holistic approach to podiatric care.

His strength is his very caring approach to his patients’ health issues. No problem is too small. In many cases the seemingly smaller concerns may be indicative of more significant aspects of your foot health. Time is always spent educating and explaining your foot problems so that you will get the most out of your visit.

Dr. Bernstein is board certified in podiatric orthopedics and primary care. His specialty training is not only in the traditional approaches to medicine and surgery, but he has studied extensively in holistic and complementary methods such as oriental medicine, homeopathy, herbs and nutrition.

Having been a runner all of his life, Dr. B. is an expert in custom foot orthotics. Having trained in California and having studied and worked with many of the pioneers and masters that were in the forefront of the orthopedic use of orthotics, Dr. Bernstein prides himself on his skill with this approach.

Most insurances are accepted. The office has a friendly and flexible approach regarding emergencies and scheduling. We are happy to assist with all insurance issues.
