Founded in 1976 by respected board-certified physician Warren Longmire, MD, Family Practice, PA has served the needs of the greater Hitchcock community and surrounding areas for over forty years. As a Texas native and longtime resident of Hitchcock, Dr. Longmire faithfully served the healthcare needs of the community while continuously updating his practice to meet those needs. 
Dr. Janis Fowler-Gulde worked alongside Dr. Longmire as he transitioned into a well-deserved retirement to seamlessly continue the mission of providing expert medical care for patients. When Dr. Longmire retired in early 2018, Dr. Gulde stepped into the practice as the primary provider. Along with Family Nurse Practitioner Krystal Daitz, Dr. Gulde’s medical team is skilled at meeting both urgent medical needs and long-term management of chronic illnesses such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, and allergies. 
As a Primary Care practice, we also focus on preventive medicine and wellness and specialized medical services to the aging population.
