Kenneth Zide

Dr. Zide specializes in cardiac rhythm management and heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Zide is ABIM-board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

His expertise includes pacemaker and defibrillator insertion; electrophysiology studies; cardiac resynchronization for heart failure; and both medical & ablation therapies for arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and ventricular tachycardia (VT). Symptoms of these disorders can be quite varied from fatigue to palpitations, and dizziness to syncope (passing out).

Dr. Zide graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in History and Sociology of Science. Also, he received a Master's in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania.

He attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, and after receiving his MD degree there, stayed in Miami to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospitals. He pursued fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

He practiced on the west coast of Florida for three years before coming home to South Florida and joining MDCC. Dr. Zide is a native Floridian, having grown up in Hollywood.
