Jeffrey Przybyla, MD

J. Alan Przybyla, MD, received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Texas, and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. He completed his surgical residency at the Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. He is board certified in surgery and is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association.

As a native Houstonian, J. Alan Przybyla, MD, could not be more excited to be joining North Pines General Surgery. Dr. Przybyla looks forward to his partnership with other surgeons whose primary focus is also excellence in patient care. He has received extensive training in advanced surgical disciplines including advanced laparoscopy, endocrine surgery and endoscopy.

His areas of particular interest include laparoscopic colon resection for benign and malignant diseases, laparoscopic anti-reflux procedures, as well as surgery for diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Dr. Przybyla's practice also encompasses routine surgical issues such as diseases of the gallbladder and appendix, breast surgery and wound care.
