Joshua Neil Steinvurzel, MD

In my approach to orthopaedics I like to take the time to educate my patients about their specific ailments so that they can help make informed decisions on their care. While I treat a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions my area of specialty is in sports medicine with a focus on conditions of the shoulder and knee. I have been fortunate to have treated athletes of all levels; from professional to collegiate to high school to recreational. I currently serve as team physician for the athletic teams at Great Neck North, Great Neck South and Glen Cove High Schools. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of both the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
