Barry G. Simonson, MD

Dr. Barry Simonson is a skilled orthopedic surgeon. He caters to the surgical needs of the communities of Great Neck and Glen Cove, NY. At present, he practices at Northwell Orthopedic Institute and with the other members of his team strives to deliver quality care and service to all visiting individuals. Dr. Simonson earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed an internship and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship at the same university. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery at New York University and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. An experienced sports medicine specialist, Dr. Simonson works in association with Glen Cove Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, and Syosset Hospital. He believes in providing excellent patient care and strives towards quickly bringing patients back to their routine way of life. When not working, he enjoys swimming, hiking, Gardening and traveling.
