Tigard Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), which is located in Tigard, Oregon, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who have an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. MAT combines the use of medication to reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms with appropriate counseling. Adults who receive MAT at Tigard CTC are prescribed methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone. They can also participate in individual and group counseling sessions where they can build their support system, learn relapse prevention skills, and prepare for long-term recovery.
