Sushi also!
Lucky Key serves sushi in their sister restaurant - Fuji Ya. This is a great place to go for $1 sushi on thursday night. They also have a habachi room. Service is excellent and the sushi is always fresh and delicious! This is a great secret in the Best Buy shopping center. The service is like no other
The food is wonderful, a little pricey for a chinese joint. The average dinner (meal+drink) sets you back about $13 a person. It is well worth it. This place is the true meaning of service with a smile. I have been going there 3-4 times a month since I moved to the area about 3 years ago. The waiters and staff are awesome. This is chinese food at it's best. If you are ever in the area of Northlake Mall stop in and check them out.The food is fantastic- just don't check their health inspection score!!
This was the best General Tso's we've EVER had! Everything was tasty and the sushi was fresh. We were so bummed when we check the health inspection score... but, something tells me we'll take our chances and go back! How's that for impressed with taste?Low quality Food ~ Poor Service
I just moved to this area, and try to find the restaurants around our place. My girlfrind and i love asian food. So we give them a try. We went to their sushi section "Fuji-Ya", We are impressed by thier menu - great selection (Chinese, Sushi and Habachi) and reasonable price. However the services are really bad, "unfriendly staffs", "poor attitude", "negative language", and slow service (even they are not busy). The food are low quality (in sushi section, i didn't try chinese and habachi but i don't think i gonna go back and try them) . I ordered sushi set (lunch NO.7) which was used low quality fish and they are NOT FRESH at all. Their fried rice not even hot. Next time if i want sushi, i'd better go to KROGER!!Greatttttttttt food...bad inspection score!!!
I have been going to this establishment for the past 10 years and love there food. They have great lunch specials from $4.50-6.50 and give you loads of food. The dinners range from $8.50-12.50 but they give you enough to last a couple of days. My favorites are the Mongolian Beef, Orange peel Chicken and Lemon Chicken. They also have the best sweet tea! The only downfall is their inspection score, a 65 to be exact. Over the years it has never been this low usually 86-92 but hopefully in October when they reinspect they can get the score up....I'm willing to give them a second chance because there food is so darn good, but if the inspection comes back bad again it's a wrap...One funny thing is when you go in the inspection is not clearly displayed..it's hidden on a high shelf and turned away from view..hopefully this means they are ashamed.INSIDER'S REVIEW ON GREAT FOOD
This restaurant has an excellent reputation for large portioned HIGH QUALITY good food at affordable prices. The service is sometimes on the non-satisfactory side due to the surprisingly very few people who actually seek employment from the restaurant. The pickings are slim, so sometimes we just have to work with whatever we can get. The manager LiLi is extra friendly and will assure great service so please talk to her about any service complaints. The food is prepared FRESH- all noodles are prepared from SCRATCH and hand- strung for excellent quality. The low inspection score is NOT from poor food preparation or cleanliness, it was due to an employee (who is no longer employed at the restaurant) who was not in uniform during the day of the inspection and was rude towards the health inspector. The view of the kitchen is open to the public through the kitchen window and it can CLEARLY be seen by anyone at the restaurant that the kitchen without a doubt exceeds that of any other Chinese restaurant. The owners do a thorough sweep down and washing of the entire kitchen every night before closing and the walls are scrubbed and remodeled regularly.Great haibachi, great sushi, & great show if you get the right cook!!
My family LOVES this place. Forget the inspection score, the food is great!! I have never had the chinese but the sushi and the haibachi is so good! When we first started going, we limited ourselves to 1 or 2 meats and fried rice. Now, we get 3 or 4 meats, fried rice, fried noodles, & sushi!! For a three person family, that will run you about $80+ but it is soooooo good and we always eat off the meal for 2 or more days. Last time we went, we got free ice cream after dinner. And since we are becoming regulars, we see alot of familiar faces...we called them our Fuji Ya friends. This place is way better than Benihana's anyday. My only grip is that only some of the cooks actually put on a show for you...it may all be a personality thing but some are really boring and others are really good showmen.Awesome food Large portions
In response to the negative reviews on Lucky Key, this resturaunt has an extremely high quality of food, and service at extremely affordable prices. For example they have a special 2 people $20, you have enough to eat until you're full and have 2 to go plates. I wonder how they make money while giving away such large portions. On top of all of that, at the end what seems like a 5 course meal you are treated with a cup of vanilla ice cream, which goes great with Chinese food as I've discovered.Great Chinese
I am picky about my Chinese food but love Lucky Key! I have never been disappointed with the quality of food there. My boyfriend and I order their salt and pepper squid as often as we can (whether it be dine in or take out). The busboys or server assistants who bring out the water and what not do not speak but a few words of English but that has never bothered me. I have always had good, quick service and my food has always been hot and good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wanted really good Chinese.Decent Chinses Food
I must say that I do not really like chinese food, but this restaurant was pretty good. The food was good and our waiter was very nice. The only thing that I thought could be improved was the glass on the windows getting cleaned a little bit more. It was worth the money and you leave feeling full!Great Food Great entertainment
we always have a great time when we go there. The food is fabulous and the cooks are fun. We always go on our birthdays and any other time we can.Bad Experience with Hibachi Chef
Shortly after arriving at the restaurant we realized that our 3 year old was afraid of the fire portion of the hibachi entertainment. We suggested to the server that we should perhaps move to another part of the restaurant. She assured us that she would notify the chef to tone down the fire. When the chef arrived we reiterated the child's fear. In response, not only did he do the fire, but he made effort to enhance the fire, and aimed all of his antics, including tossing his cooking utensils and food directly at the terrified 3 year old, only, of all the adults at this table. Upon leaving, I complained to Mgt. They did apologize, but after leaving, I felt as though they should have at least offered to comp. the meal.Worldwide > United States > Tucker, GA > Chinese Restaurants
