Fantastic Food, Great Entertainment, Plus Karaoke With Class Every Monday Night
Ernie's Of North Dallas has long been one of Dallas' best kept secrets. Jack and Amir have outdone themselves. Great Entertainment 6 nights a week, plus Karaoke with class every Monday night from 5:30pm until 10:30pm hosted by KJ Russ. Wonderful bartenders (Laura & Karen) makes you one to come back again and again. This my "Cheers", wonderful customers and great atmosphere. A wonderful menu with tableside preparations...Got my vote!

fantastic hidden bar and restaurant for the mature crowd
I dined at Ernies Restaurant last week at dinner time. I was told this restaurant and Bar was a Dallas/ Addison icon for 30 years? When we walked in the bar to the left was filled with friendly middle aged patrons that all seem to be having a great time so we went into the bar first to have a cocktail before we had dinner. They were playing karaoke at 6pm and the singers were actually pretty good! The DJ was friendly, the waitress really nice and the drinks were half price because we were in happy hour. I have to say we had the best time people watching and interacting with what seemed like a ‘cheers' environment right here in the Addison area! When we sat down for dinner the waitress brought us the best bread I have had in awhile. It was pretty funny because my boyfriend kept eating it all and she would smile and bring more....the dinner salad with the house dressing was out of this world, the salad itself had stringed carrots and tomatoes and crisp greens, it was soo good ( crazy to go n about a salad, but it really was so good!) for dinner I ordered what the waitress said was one of the most popular dishes. It was a breast of chicken. That was grilled and placed on a bed of angel hair pasta with the most amazing sauce. It had sautéed mushrooms and grilled shrimp topped and fresh vegetables as well. I had to skip dessert because of all of the great bread but they sounded delicious as well. You really have to go to this hidden gem. It's a little hard to find in the Addison shopping Center next to the tollway and beltline, but worth it. Hands down one of the best dinners I have had in awhile. I would give it tem stars if I could ( insider tip , the owner owns a shrimp farm, so if you are looking for the freshest shrimp in the Metroplex, go here)

The "NEW" Ernie's of Dallas
The NEW Ernie's of Dallas ROCKS!!! While there are MANY places for the "youngins" to party... Ernie's is one of the VERY few places for the 35+ crowd to, "Eat, Drink, Dance and just have FUN!!!"

"Stayin' Alive- Not!"
The music has gone downhill badly; quickly. OMG! You got women in their late 50s trying to act 25 years younger. Very, very smoky! Very clickish; if they don't know you, they won't talk to you! Happened to me. Old old, guys, nice enough, circulating, asking for dances, but, gee, if you want some place to dance with good music, good dance partners (one even was wearing a hat)- this is not for you! Dark, stuffy, and smoky it's king of depressing enough, but then you seen all the caked-on face, smoking, drinking gals, and we had to leave. You've been forewarned!!!About this listing: Information on this page may be sourced from business owners, public records, and trusted data partners. 2findlocal provides these details to help users discover local businesses and services.
