Terrific!
We Manhattanites made it an evening - beers on the ferry as the sun set, the slightly exciting adventure of taking the Staten Island Railroad for the first time (with Metrocard, it's a free transfer from your Manhattan subway trip--who...

Great food w/ Manhattan prices
The prices don't fit the neighborhood. Otherwise, outstanding restaurant - great food, great wine.

Great Food
This is one of my favorite places to dine on SI (along with Aesop's Tables and Trattoria Romana) and the reason is simply good food. Carol prepares excellent, diverse dishes and the overall experience is always pleasant. The best bargain, however, is the 4 course prix fixe offered on Wednesday and Thursday night. There is no better bargain considering the quality of food received. You can spend $20 to eat at Applebees so this is truly a catch. The prices on regular nights are a bit high for SI but the food still merits the prices. Definitely a must try!

Great food - Overpriced
Great restaurant, but if price is a consideration - Stay away. Food is of NYC quality, as are the prices. Service average at best, the local regulars seem to dominate the staff. Other places are worth considerations

An adventure in fine dining
Price is well deserved for the quality of the food that you are served. Other reviewers complained of price, you get what you paid for!!!! Why go to Manhattan to sit in traffic and pay for parking when you can have a exquisite meal close to home. The best food on Staten Island with consistent new experiences for the palate...

Respectable for Staten Island
was there on a Saturday night, unfornately seated next to a loud obnoxious table in the pub section, so we asked to change the table. In terms of service, the head hostess was great, very warm, sincere and friendly, this is where the above average part of the review ends. The staff was below par, a bus boy repeated kicked my chair when passing behind me. Unfortunately the clientale, and the staff are your typical locals. For the price I'd say I'm not entirely impressed with the food, it wasn't bad, but everything was way too salty, from the mussels to both entrees, as if everything was made by the same junior chef. The decor and ambiance was quite medioacre as well. At one point by adjusting the lighting, the lights were accidently switched off, leaving everyone looking around to find out what's going on (amateur attempt at ambiance control). Overall this is a good local choice from a million pizzerias, but not worth a drive from Manhattan or other boroughs.About this listing: Information on this page may be sourced from business owners, public records, and trusted data partners. 2findlocal provides these details to help users discover local businesses and services.
