I brought my car to Binky’s to have the owner Greg do a detail. 3 hours in Greg told me he could also fix all 4 dents on the car for $25 each. I agreed, but @ 3pm I get a call from Greg saying that he accidentally scratched my car in the process of fixing the last dent. He said that I just need to take it to his body shop where he knows the owner & can get a discount. My boyfriend looked @ the damage & saw that the cap Greg was trying to remove to get to a dent was actually the locking mechanism for the gas cap which is now broken. Wax was left on the plastic by the tires etc. etc. so the detail was clearly not completed, nor were 2 of the dents he said he fixed. Greg was VERY INSISTANT we go to his body shop so a week later my boyfriend took his car in. They couldn’t get the part for the gas cap for 2 more days so Greg offered to pay for a rental car. When the car was returned my boyfriend called Greg who now refused to pay for the rental car because he said we owed him for the detail & dents, but the detail was never completed & he fixed 2 dents which didn’t come close to how much the rental car cost us. This is why he didn’t accept $ the day he detailed it. Nothing was resolved, we took a loss on the rental car & our car now has a worse dent in it from the body shop that we never wanted to go to in the 1st place.
