Overpriced mediocre dining
The food at barefoot upset me incredibly. I got the night's "Special" - Tempura scallops. The scallops were nothing special at all, in fact I have cooked better scallops myself. There were 4 small scallops on the plate, around a big salad. The salad tastes EXACTLY like one I buy at trader joes all the time for $3.50, so I was upset spending $24 on this plate.Decent for delivery
Tired of the same old delivery so with the help of LABite, I tried Barefoot. The boxes made the portions seem smaller than they were. The mixed greens were nice with an herb vinegrette. The rather chilly Butterquash tortellini was supposed to come in a tomato basil sauce, but instead was in a tomato creme sauce. Only 8 tortellini so make 'em count! Some lovely bread came as well.Great atmosphere, but...
Service was slow even with reservations. Food is very average. Try this place for drinks at the bar instead of dining. Thank God for the great atmosphere.Nice New Menu and Chef at Barefoot
I met a friend at the bar last night and they were introducing a new menu. We tried the chicken skewers with spicy plum sauce - delicious! 4 huge skewers cooked to perfection. Then we tried the tacos and they were also excellent. They even have a burger on the bar menu before 7pm for $7. Then we had this dessert that tasted like mini beignets with a raspberry dipping sauce OMG. Someone in the kitchen really knows good food - I hear they have a new Chef.Great Staff Yummy eats Happy festive drinks
Last Sat my company had our holiday dinner at Barefoot. We loved it! I talked my girl into having her bday party here!!Perfect in every way !!
My husband's family came to town, and instead of cooking at home, we decided to wine and dine. We were a group of 8, and we called Barefoot at the last minute to try and get a table. The Manager answered the phone and said to just come on in, and that he would have us a table. Once we got there, we were all welcomed, and sat right away. The Manager must of been from the south. His southern charm poured all over us, and we loved every second of it. We were sat right away at a cozy table near the back. Everything from the service, food, and over character of Barefoot truly made for a perfect evening.GREAT
GREAT SERVICE, FOOD AND DRINKS AND THE PRICE ISN'S T BAD EITHER. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONEGreat food and service
Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I had a few special requests which she took in stride and delivered on.Excellent Happy Hour
Check out the review of this and many other happy hours at: happiest hours(dot)blog spot(dot)com - no spaces between words, but City Search won't allow it any other way. Barefoot Bar and Grill is a terrible misnomer for this stylish place. I was expecting something akin to Duke's in Malibu, but this place, next to the Bread Bar on Third, was much nicer. The bar area was big and comfy, and my friend and I were the only two people there, so we got a couch in the corner and started ordering.Rude -- Insulting -- Horrible Experience
The Food and Ambiance would have been the some of the best in the city, were it not for the hideously rude Maitre d', Harper, who singlehandedly ruined our romantic dinner.Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Seafood Restaurants
