Samir Shakfeh

Samir Shakfeh, MD, FACOG, double board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, has provided obstetrical and gynecological services to Hernando County and surrounding areas for more than two decades delivering over 10,000 babies. His passion for women?s health began as a medical student at the University of Damascus. He received residency training in pathology at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, followed by fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University. He then completed his residency in OB/GYN at the nationally renowned Georgetown University Hospital-Washington Hospital Center. He has expertise in high-risk obstetrics, geriatric gynecology and bladder surgeries in conjunction with urologists.
