Zet's Embroidery

Zet‘s Embroidery opened in 1980 in Oak Mill Mall in Niles, Illinois with the hopes of being the best. Zet Tayabali, the owner, learned embroidery from her family and in embroidery school in Kenya starting in 1962. While in school, Ms. Tayabali received a certificate in embroidery and sewing. When she came to the United States of America in 1980, she worked at Monogram Embroidery in downtown Chicago doing embroidery on silk saris and fur coat lining.
