Our Napa based Alley Cat Small Animal Hospital was founded in the mid 1980s. Ever since then our staff have been performing veterinary medicine and compassionate animal care for the Napa Valley community.

Alley Cat Small Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for our patients and a welcoming, informative, and supportive service for our clients.

Our wonderful building has served a number of purposes over the years before it became a veterinary hospital, including a bird barn, an artists studio and also a residence. We believe the warm and homely feel that greets you at the door helps to put your mind at rest and keeps your pets calm.

We offer all of our clients a very high standard of medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. We are very proud to have been an AAHA-accredited hospital for 25 years. Accreditation by AAHA means that an animal hospital has been evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence. To maintain this accreditation, hospitals undergo a rigorous review by veterinary experts every three years. Pets are our passion. And keeping them healthy is our #1 priority. Our facility enables you to make one stop for your pets medical and nutritional needs. We have an in-house pharmacy, lab, radiology facilities, isolation unit plus an extensive nutritional center where you will find an assortment of prescription and maintenance diets.
