Catharine’s Quality of Life “Dementia Care” Homes set the standard for dementia care in Denver and all of Colorado by utilizing innovative activity programs and care services not only to meet the unique and changing needs of persons with memory loss but also to help them actively live life. In order to keep residents actively engaged in life, we have the highest staff to resident ratio of any home or facility in Colorado (2-3, highly trained staff for 6-7 residents). Our innovative activity program was recently honored by the Colorado State Ombudsman Program when they selected it as the model to train their volunteers.
