Dr. Dean Spellman is an independent contractor of Family Footcare Group, PC. He has been a contributing partner to one of the largest, most successful ambulatory foot care facility in the United States, overseeing a team of surgeons certified in arthroscopy and ambulatory foot surgery.

Family Footcare Group has 10 strategically convenient locations throughout New York City, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. The practice is specialized in foot care without the hassle of long waits and the convenience of immediate appointments. The group performs over 2000 foot related surgeries per year and answers over 1000 calls per month.

Dr. Spellman is on staff at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Westchester Square/New York Hospital, and at Surgicare Center in the Bronx. He also performs procedures on a weekly basis at the practice's main surgical facility in the Upper East Side which also has a full anesthesiology team and ten podiatric surgical assistants.

Dr. Spellman enjoys treating children and has been involved in children's soccer for the past four years.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1997 and has thoroughly trained over 50 podiatrists in the last 25 years.

The Podiatrists at Family Foot Care perform over 2000 foot procedures per year and receives 1000 information calls per month regarding foot care. The group does arthroscopy and ambulatory foot surgery in their main surgical facility with a full anesthesiology team and 10 surgical nurses. Surgery is done on an "out-patient basis," which means that 100% of our surgical patients go home the same day.

The American Board of Podiatric Surgery certifies all of our doctors. And, our doctors also serve as adjunct professors in local Podiatric Colleges where they have been responsible for training over 100 podiatrists collectively.
