From Infants to Geriatrics... The mission of Plumsteadville Family Practice is to provide comprehensive primary care that is responsive and compassionate by creating a partnership with our patients and their families, coordinating and facilitating their medical care and improving the health and quality of life for our patients and our community. Plumsteadville Family Practice was started over 50 years ago by a young enthusiastic physician named Dr. Charles Burmeister. Initially his office was on the second floor behind the Plumsteadville Inn. Over the years, as the community and the practice of medicine changed, Plumsteadville Family Practice has grown and matured. Although Dr. Burmeister has since retired, his commitment to the community and his concern for the people who live and work here, remains strong within the practice. Our physicians and staff believe in community involvement. While you will find us in our office, Doylestown Hospital and nursing facilities in the area, you may also find us in your schools, at your sports events or giving an educational talk. Our goal is to have happy, healthy, patients and families. But when illness does strike, we will make every effort to give thorough, compassionate care.
