Global MontessoriCanada follows the Montessori Method of Education, its philosophy and practical application. Our day care and private elementary mission is to provide an environment that stimulates the child’s innate desire to learn and one which addresses all areas of the child’s development --- social, emotional, physical and cognitive. Our facilities, including an indoor playground and libraries are housed in a bright, airy two-storey building that has been designed to meet the needs of the child. The classrooms are sunny and spacious with child-sized furnishings, always being aware of the child’s safety. We also have a fully-equipped outdoor playground to promote children sports. Aside from our toddler, preschool, junior and senior kindergarten, and elementary programs, we also offer after school programs and our special program, the French Immersion school program. Research conducted in Canada during the past 40 years has shown that French immersion students outperform English students in regular Core French programs in all types of French language tests. Immersion students, especially those in early immersion (Pre- school & Kindergarten) has been found to perform as well as native French students on tests of reading and listening comprehension.
