I'm a Clinical Psychologist in private practice with over 30 years of experience in a wide range of mental health and psychology-related settings including inpatient and outpatient facilities, college counseling, wrap-around services and school-based programs, as well as consultation and training programs. I maintain a small, mostly word-of-mouth practice, and I limit the number of clients I see so that I can provide personalized care that meets the needs of individual clients. When you call my confidential phone line, you speak only with me. I understand that when people seek counseling or psychotherapy they are facing difficult times in their lives, and I try to schedule the first appointment as soon as possible. And prior to scheduling that first appointment, I'll speak with you briefly about your concerns so that we can have a sense together whether or not I'll be able to help you. If your concerns are outside my areas of expertise, I'm happy to make referrals. For confidentiality reasons, I prefer that you call rather than email... and I look forward to talking with you soon.
