Starting in 1993 We began designing and manufacturing Sand Spreaders under the DownEaster brand name. Since that time, we have grown steadily and become one of the leading brands in snow and ice control in the U.S. To compliment the seasonal nature of the spreader business, the company began designing and manufacturing DownEaster trailers in 2001. Since entering the trailer market, the company has experienced tremendous growth and market acceptance. In 2001 we built a 30,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility to accommodate the high output of products required to supply our 100 plus dealers all over North America and beyond. In 2007, we launched our truck body line which includes dump bodies and flat beds. These products are quickly becoming the industry standard.
